I did a search on previous posts on this topic. The main things I picked up on doing it was calm winds or zero winds is your best scenario. Jump straight out to keep the lines tight, look at the canopy as you are jumping, take the PC off and keep the slider down, brakes set. Can this be done with a skydiving rig and canopy (diablo 150)? The canopy can be flown slow and I am confident I can land in a tight spot. Or I could use a PD 210. and what would be too low for the manuever.

Ah yes, the McRollover. Also along with your PC, if you didn't know already, make sure to get rid of that bridle dangling there too. I was thinking about a Sabre2 150, but haven't gotten the nuts up yet. I would imagine skydiving canopies to be more squirrely, i.e. easier off headings. Also someone mentioned once about how the lines are shorter, therefore inflation would be higher. I heard a story about an elliptical, a rollover, and some steel, but that's another story
    good luck

If you're really interested in taking a skydiving canopy off of some sort of object, look into ground launching. It's safer and you'll have a LOT more fun. Just did ~900' with a Sabre2 107 on Saturday, and my buddy took his Xaos 21 (loaded @ >2:1). Talk to some peeps about it here:

What is ground launching? And what is Trolling? I just got back from checking out the bridge. Its definitly high enough. The langing is a bit shaky, but there is room. This is Northern AZ so the the terrain consits of river rocks and trees all the way down to the shallow river. If anyone wants to know it is xxxx xxxxxx.

Ground launching is a special time in the life of a child when he or she first notices... er, wait, no... that's not it.

My hair autocoifs. However, any attempts to interrupt the coifing process (manual or automatic) definitely count as trolling. Talking about hucking a Diablo 150 off a bridge is definitely an anti-coifing action.

Check out the Sabre 150 jump on the Bridge Day Safety Video, if you can access it. Dude lost a leg from that one. A Diablo would be worse. Twists would likely mean a spin on that canopy. Bad news. Not saying it isn't possible -- just not wise.

In my limited knowledge... BASE jump? BASE gear.

No I have elimited the idea of using the diablo....I will use the PD 210, if I do it. I do NOT want line twist.
