    What kind of wingsuit?

Hi everyone. I am about to order a wingsuit, but I don't know what kind of model will be the best choice for me. I want to use it mostly from cliffs, but also from planes. I have no previous wingsuit experience. I have around 450 skydives(mostly freeflying)and 40 basejumps. What do you guys recomend? Another question is if i have to modify the pincover on my Warlock(make it stiffer), or is it not necesarry? What about the pilot size? Is 32 good enough? I jump Mojo 260}> Thanks.

With your limited (no offense) experience, I would get a Bird Man Classic. Then I would get about 100 Skydives using a PRO-Track to get a good understanding of how you are flying.
I have about 150 jumps on a classic, and it is a great BASE-Jumping wing.

Then after 100 Skydives, go to Norway and have a wing flyer mentor you on a "BIG" cliff!

    When I skydive, I use a Super Raven III, a 9' bridle and a 32" or 36" ZP PC.

    On ALL BASE-Jumps, I use a 9' bridle, and a 38" ZP PC.

Not much mroe to add to what Mick said.

Definitely get some serious air time from airplanes before you try the cliffs.

Getting comfortable in the air with the suit is the big challenge, and with 450 jumps total, you need that 100 jumps Mick suggested before you head for the big time.

And if you have the chance, make a balloon jump or two before you base jump the suit. It's a great weay to improve your confidence and comfort with the suit with a zero airspeed starting point.

The bottom line is: Wingsuits are a wonderful new world of flying, but unless the suit feels totally like it's part of you, things can go bad faster and much more intensely than you can imagine.

Looking for advice on the Board suggests you're on the righ track in terms of attitude and approach, and that means you'll probably do it right.

    Good luck and good swoops,
