More on Moab Restrictons

We had a very good meeting today with the BLM
The Sherrif hasn't talked to them yet but this will come.
We also paid a visit to the local newspaper to straighten out facts about Base jumpers rescue cost allegations.

So far so good

In the end, we ( all base jumpers coming to Moab) are responsible for the survival of the legality of these beautifull cliffs.LEGAL doesn't mean SAFE so if you plan on coming here, make sure you have the skill level to be here.Don't bring low timers or beginners,this is NOT the place.Think of all the other jumpers that will come after you when deciding if the conditions are good or not.We all have a part to play in big picture

The jumping is not bothering anybody, it's only the rescues...

does that mean no more "most BASE jumps in a 24 hour period" record attemps??? I hope things are still legal in 6 months.... I convinced my med-student girlfriend to take a 8 week rotation out at Moab....it'd be a shame if i didn't come out and see her (she asked if there was no legal jumping would i *still* come out and see her....naive little girl)

Naive little girls read The Base Board often. There have been some busts lately. Watch out!

Matt add plenty of experience in several other X-trem sports to compensate for is low # of jumps.The reason he got hurt had nothing to do with is # of jumps either.
