I'm interested to see if the good old NPS will treat this climber just like they treat BASE jumpers. If so, then he'll get a week in the Yosemite jail, full gear confiscation, $5000 fine, probation, and the complimentary full-body frisking by the chief.

The last time this happened (sometime last year, I think), the climber did get nailed just as hard as a BASE jumper.
The NPS is at least consistent.
