    LA BASE Challenge

    Jumping without a publicist?

I'd say jumping without a camera crew, but we know that would never happen in LA...

In all seriousness, it is bad etiquette to discuss jump sites on this board (or any other public forum). If you're looking to hear stories about great jumps that have been done in LA, try heading out to the Perris DZ. I'm sure you can find someone there who has a couple stories.

I see. Thank you I did not mean to have bad etiquette.
I will head out there and check it out.

    RE: LA BASE Challenge

Is it safe to jump without a camera crew?

    RE: LA BASE Challenge

If access is a problem then a full blown camera crew may not be possible. However, never attempt any jump without video.

PS I have a map of all the jumpable buildings in LA.
Send me a check for $50 and it's yours.

Actually it contains all the buildings in LA.:+

    RE: LA BASE Challenge

Well, they're all jumpable. It's just a matter of how high your personal "acceptable risk level" is.

I think it'd be pretty cool to jump a building and then land on a police car that's responding to the alarm you set off. To be the ultimate though, you still have to get away! :P

And, then, after getting away, you'd have to move to Norway, and become a glamorous and highly paid BASE instructor, with Swedish supermodels throwing themselves at you...
