    monopoles

    Just find a nice one with good landing area. What is the proper technique for climbing those wretched pegs?

    Use your left foot on the left hand pegs and your right foot on the right hand pegs. Then, which ever foot is lower than the other is moved to the next higher peg on that side. Repeat as necessary with the alternate foot until you run out of pegs or fall off.
