What's the water temp like this time of the year? Should I bother bringing my round?

I will speak for MD#1, and he says the waters fine! The usual water landing/tree strike/manzanita pound in BASE trip to twin falls this last weekend was a success. So I would say, bring your round.
Douggs wanted the $50.00 for the intentional water cut away, but all of his handle checks at the exit point drained his brain. Was that 27 or 28 checks before exit?? &-)

Hello -
I was there at the very end of April/beginning of May. The water was pretty darn cold! I did a couple of intentional water jumps with my round and also had an unintentional water jump to boot.
On the unintentional jump, I was getting pretty numb by the time the boat picked me up and had to put some focus into breathing, etc.
On the intentional water jumps, I wore a 3mm shorty wetsuit and neoprene booties -- this helped out a ton. Sure the water was brisk, but it was completely manageable. That was 2 or 3 weeks ago...when the morning temps were in the 30s and the highs in the 50s. I'm sure it's warmed up a good deal since then.
And if it helps any, I'm bringing my round out next week -- they sure are fun!

Hi Spence -
Looking forward to jumping with you next week!
A Tsunami is a good word to describe it. I almost capsized Bert's boat and everyone in the lower landing area got wet!
