Gifts to Twin Falls

The CJAA, Tom Sanders, and I are donating several framed photos of BASE jumps made from the Perrine to the local Twin Falls community. I'll be bringing them with me to the Perrine during Memorial Day weekend for distribution.

These gifts will serve as a "thank you" to Twin Falls and the locals from all of the jumpers. Some will go to the Chamber of Commerce right next to the bridge, the Twin Falls Police Dept, the County, and perhaps some local restaurants and hotels.

If you have a suggestion or comment as to how/where we should distribute, please let me know. I could also use some assistance with distribution if you'll be at the Perrine that weekend.

If anyone else cares to donate any interesting 11"x14" or larger photos, please email me ASAP.

great ideah guys any thing to keep up the good feelings in town i know i have found nothing but good vibes from the folks in town and i hope we can all work together and keep it that way.its not hard to do just be friendly and civil keep your clothes on clean up after yourself and even trash thats not ours (it helps us look good you never know might be standing right next to you asking you about things )it could be the mayor and DONT USE THE RAIL also make sure someone calls sherrifs office in the morning when starting and at night when stopping . i dont think they ask too much of us so please folks stop and think before you do something that could lose this site for us i think we will sort of be under a microscope mem day weekend so once again i say think before you act .looking forward to seeing a bunch of you all there so till later have fun & love each other seeya mb65 johnny gates P.S. i wish i had a picture to donate of me jumping there some one could use it to keep the critters away from theyre house

Hi Jason -

That's a great idea! If you do have enough to distribute to some of the local restaurants, you might want to consider Chili's. Donk and I talked to the Manager a couple of weeks ago and they are getting ready to redecorate their bar in the near future and would love to have some BASE pictures and parphernalia.

They absolutely love BASE jumpers and have stayed open way past closing time numerous times so the party can continue. They also let you hook up your cameras to a TV in the bar so you and your group can watch the day's footage/carnage.
