NC BASE Boogie

I just wanted to thank everyone who attended the 1st (of many) NC base boogies for making it a safe and very enjoyable weekend. Although we only had a half day of jumping because of weather(wind)we were still able to make 20 daylight jumps from 1700+ ft.:D With another 6 made from a local 250 footer. East coasters RULE!! Sure we don't have the contacts to make legal high profile Building jumps but at least were not bickering over who should get credit for putting it together.:P This event was put together by EVERYONE who attended and made safe jumps. It was a team effort.
The highlight was done by E-man and 515. They launched a sweet 2 way round that went flawlessly. It's too bad we got weathered out beacause we had some awesome dives planned for the rest of the day and night. I can't wait for the next boogie! Maybe It will be at the new 2000 ft site that was opened up on the trip home. Ah, so many sites, so little time:-).

Just wanted to say thanks for the invite. I was the only South Carolinian to attend and went home with two 1700+ jumps and one 250', plus a ton of spectacular video.it was great meeting everyone there.

I had a great time all! The wind gods were not with us and you know it is damm windy when the jumpers are sitting there looking at the elevator not going any where. Lets do it again soon and get some more folks out! Thank you to all for a fun safe weekend.
