Moab weekly update

Sunday turned out to be a great day for jumping in Spring Canyon
We started off at the "Utah Claw" which is more like a giant paw with 5 distincitive toes complete with crevases between each one.Looking thru one give you a view of how over hanging these exit points (5) really are.Jeremy opened up "Wendy's point " and Brian got his 1st Cliff :-)

We moved on to open up the "Flying Fungus ", a balancing chunk of rock with a great video spot underneath the exit point.

Next we opened up the "Stinky Sock " ( thats what you get for leaving the toilet paper at the packing area...)This is another point of rock just sticking out of the wall and much higher then the 2 other ones, oooooooh yeah !

And to finish off this great day of jumping and serious hiking, we took a leap off the "Diving Board ", a 12' ramp over a 500' vertical wall !

It doesn't get much better then this
or maybe it does....We will see next weekend

Thanks for showing and guiding me through my first cliff jump, it sure beats struggling by myself. I will be back Friday afternoon. It was great. Not only the jump but everything. There is so much to be said from jumping out there and with you guys. The scenary, hiking, jumping, and the people. Just fantastic! Although bridge day has been fun the past two times I have gone, I may forgo it and trade it for a MOAB vacation instead.
