Riser Covers: Velcro vs. Tuck Tabs

    Hey y'all,

Looking for opinions and exp. regarding the subject. Specifically for the use on a VELCRO closed rig. Thanks in advance.

RE: Riser Covers: Velcro vs. Tuck T

I've had velcro rigs with both styles of riser cover (tuck tab and velcro).

    I couldn't really see a functional difference.

The velcro riser covers are slightly higher maintenance (you'll have to replace the velcro every once in a while).

I do know one jumper who claims that the velcro is more comfortable to wear than the tuck flap (since the tuck flap creates a stiff spot in the shoulder). With the three rings right there, I can't really tell a difference personally.

My opinion: six of one, half dozen of the other.
