Freak gust of wind throws paraglider pilot
A video has emerged from Bulgaria of a paraglider pilot being dumped to the ground on takeoff by a gust of wind.

In the clip, which was filmed on March 13, the pilot appears to launch successfully and glides towards the cliff edge when suddenly a gust of wind collapses the wing and throws her to the ground.

Fortunately, the pilot suffered nothing more serious than concussion and a stiff neck.
