UPDATE 9/1/13 1:15 p.m. Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) The name and latest condition have been released for a B.A.S.E. jumper injured on Saturday. Sgt. Ken Mencl says his name is Timothy Sumpter of Waterloo, Illinois. He was life-flighted to Boise with life-threatening injuries.

UPDATE: Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) A man is in critical condition following a B.A.S.E. jumping accident Saturday afternoon.

Sgt. Ken Mencl tells Idaho's First News that the 45–year old made other jumps on Saturday. However on this occasion, his friend told deputies that the pilot chute deployed, but didn't inflate and the B.A.S.E. jumper hit the water.

A private boat brought him to the dock where he was met by EMS and sheriff's deputies.

He was taken to St. Luke's Magic Valley for trauma to the back and shoulders.

The B.A.S.E. jumper is from out of state and his name has not been released.

The B.A.S.E. jumper has been brought to the boat dock at Centennial.
