This is a video I made of my flight from Birch Mountain, which is in the Palisades region of the eastern Sierra. It was a very windy day on the upper two thirds of the mountain, which made the first part of the flight kind of scary. I was carried down wind for two miles before being let out, and was then able to fly close to the terrain. I tried to use every last bit of snow on this flight towards the bottom, and was able to land at almost the same elevation as the car, just in one canyon too far north due to the strong south wind that took me that day!
