Parachuting Helmet Poll

Have you ever fucked up your face, mouth, teeth or chin while Parachuting??

Please answer based on YOUR experiences from both SKY and BASE jumping.

No, but my helmet saved all of them on a few skyjump landings! ;)

My choices would have been YES or NO, but the system never allowed me.

Basically I find the discussion about the best full face helmets funny because:

A) In 3300+ SKY and 262 BASE I have crash landed, on street, water, tree, etc.
and all of the wounds have always been to limbs, one small broken foot bone,
one small puncture wound to the arm, and numerous leg scrapes/scratches.

B) My only head/face bumps were: SKY & minor. Basically getting kicked by
uncoordinated newer RW guys and once bit my lip on a super hard opening.

C) I often see people wearing no helmet, no knee pads, weak or/no boots,
more or less a spine protector for solid objects.

Please do not get me wrong, I agree with Dwain's famous line: Pad Up, Pound In
