Nothing like a cold & windy day to break a steering line on opening. A Troll canopy with maybe 100 jumps and the lines look great. Broke right at the cat's eye, and even ripped out the bartack of fingertrapped portion of the line. Nothing to be learned here other than any jump can get spicey when you least expect it. Practice flying and landing without one toggle because you will probably need to do it at some point. Apparently this is the sort of thing that happens when there is an Aussie on the load. Thanks for the jump Douggs.

Actually, decendants of criminals.........we shipped most of their decendants from the UK in the 18th & 19th centuries when we wanted to rid our beautiful Isle of them.....Rather than the death penalty, we shifted them out to the colonies over there..... although, the death penalty for "cutting down a tree", seems a little harsh now.... but then again reading some of the angry posts on the Red Bull chaps, some people seem to think not...

Cutting down a tree?! Thats way worse than what my ancestors did... :D
3 convicts in our family. 1 stole a fork and a hankerchief. 1 was accused of stealing a leg of ham (have the court records, didn't do it but "transported" anyway! :D) and the other stole a breadstick and some silverwear.... :D
And here I am back at the scene of the crime!

Already on there. JackF. :)
Unfortunatley I'm a non-jumper. GC'd once before and done a few scouting trips either with someone on here (and all the other BASE sites) or solo.
Will do it one day. Been my dream since early 90s. :)

Is Douggs still in Twin? I might make the drive tomorrow. Maybe get a chance to see Tree cheat death again. That's always good for a laugh.

You must have heard I only jump naked at night huh? Well, it sure does make you think real long and hard about making a good landing so you don't scrape up your wedding tackle.
