Anybody had any weird compatibility issues with this O/S ? Can't log in to Google, yet I can use Google search. [crazy]

nope. mine works fine and i've actually had no bugs to date in spite of all the nay-sayers. i actually like it.

How the hell do I know if my Vista OS is the one you speak of?

Click start, click on computer in menu, The click on system properties on the top header. The type of O/S will be on that list.

Weeeeeeeeee. FIXED IT !! It was that Norton security crap. Shoulda known.
