Does anyone here have a single bag that fits their stash bag, and everything else when they go on a backpacking adventure? I want something non-flashy, big enough to fit my stashbag and small backpack (or contents), and designed to be comfortable while walking with upwards of 25 kilos in weight.

I used a Gossamer Gear Mariposa Plus in Baffin. Upon returning, I gussetted the top opening to make it easier to get the rig in in the future. Good construction, very compressible, removable stays (carbon rods) and removable high-density foam padding in belt and shoulder straps. I was very happy with it.

Edit: Whoops, you said 25 kilos, not lbs. The Mariposa is sufficient for up to 30lbs by the manufacturer's specs. I never used the stays I had in mine, but I think I could conceivably press it to that weight comfortably.

There is a Da-Kine day packer that fit mine with a Gath, then Consolidated Rigging makes an amazing pack just for this purpose.

Do you remember the pack i used when we went to that place with the the long delay? That's pack works awesome for me and is perfectly inconspicuous and easy to jump down. I'll PM you the name of it.
