DSI gives downtown Victorian spin with Dickens vignettes, horse-drawn carriage (The Pottsville Republican & Herald)
SHENANDOAH — Charles Dickens wrote “A Christmas Carol” about 20 years before the borough was incorporated, yet on Friday night Main Street was taken back to Victorian times, when horse and carriage transported the season’s partygoers through snow-kissed streets and locals were invited into the town hall for hot cider and treats.
