Aussie Jumpers

G'day all,

this is a cross post from the dz.com BASE forum (in lieu of the ABA forums which seem to have taken a bit of a hiatus :-).

I'm a novice jumper (if a one tandem wonder can even be called novice) wondering about the possibilities of connecting with local BASE jumpers (I'm a brisvegan) with a view to one day perhaps getting involved in this sport.

I've read (probably close to all ;-) the 'getting into BASE' articles and have no intention of persuing any BASE goals before I've got enough jump/canopy/life experience to feel confident I won't embarrass myself by dying at a FJC (or equivalent intro).

I'm overseas until Jan/Feb next year but if anyone wants a keen as mustard ground crew in the new year I'd love to get a feel for the community (and contribute what I can).

Hope I don't sound like a retard who watched a base video and thinks it looks like something chicks would dig.
