skydiving / base activity in Delhi?

heyop everybody.
is there any dropzone or base activity in Delhi, India?
i'm participating a one kind of student programme this autumn in New Delhi.... and wondering whether to take my skydiving or base gear with me.

I saw nothing in Delhi. In Agra behind the Taj Mahal there were power towers you could jump, in Varanesi a jumpeable antenna (with a very bad landing area) but there are great logistical concerns for Base jumping in India. PM me for specifics on that. In my opinion, If you can find something to get off of (with a landing area) you will get away with it, however...

I have traveled to India many times for work. I always bring my BASE rig, but have not been able to jump because I have always been to busy with work. Most buildings in New Delhi are too low to jump because they do not have the construction techniques to build them over a few stories. I did see some nice apartments going up in Gurdon Province, which is just out side of New Delhi. They were up to 20 stories. I'm going to hit them sooner or later. I would bring the BASE rig and you get something I'm sure. There is nothing going on for skydiving in India. It is all military jumping. Good luck and let me know what you find. When I head back there this year I'll drop you a Email, maybe we can hook up.

i am a student in delhi.....have no diving experience watsoever...needed to know if u need to have skydiving experience before u go to base jumping??...and i f u do come to delhi,u can let me now...will be fun seeing some1 base jump for real

u mean autumn 2010??...i'l be there..no legal issuses in india...but wl b hard to find places in delhi...if u can travel north 4m there,am sure u will find lots of jumpable places...i have no diving experence watsoever..can u tell me how to get statd??
