hehehe... yeah I will make it out there! It may be a bit delayed now though, because I had some issues getting back home from Norway (missed check in for my flight by 3 mins, had to but another ticket for $1600 US  ...) so I got to re-work the finances!
C-ya again sometime though!

About legality of jumping in Vrsar...
It is a (still happily) grey zone.
It is stil not regulated by law. The owner of viaduct is company named BINA - Istra (http://www.bina-istra.hr/index1.html) and their road patrol will not allow you to jump from the span. You should try and avoid to be seen by them. They usually have orange signal lights at their van.
About police. I (we) have not been caught by police there, but although it is not ilegal to jump, I'm not sure how they would react. We are doing our best to avoid them, too.
We (locals) are trying to not hang too long on the span, hiding our helmets (to be honest, most of our jumps from there are without helmet, just to be sthealty - we were thought that way from one of the first jumpers from that span) not to disturb trafic with our presence, and we try to leave no trace at the land below. It is private property so we are guest there.
It is allways good to pick all the trash when you leave. You would be suprised how much energy drinks cans we sometimes find when we arrive ot place.
BTW, that post was not direct reply to you but to all.
Oh, I forgot, don't forget to have fun there. ;-)
PS: If you dont know, there is a trail (10 - 15 minute walk to span) so you don't have to go with car or walk all the way around, ill try and upload picture with explanation if I find apropriate...

Well. How can you know who read this site in Poland? I am the webmaster of it and since Polish BASE Revolution was opened few years ago there has been many people visiting it and asking different questions, mostly technically. Only few of them has been active on the forum, becaus of different reasons. In the beginning the server was actually boiling and I had to take down the site for some time. Both curious skydivers and media has regulary been in touch and I hope I have contributed some to spread serious baseknowledge, to people that one day will become basejumpers.
Also what you write about that noone is interested in starting base in Poland is not correct. There are 40.000.000 people in that country. People has generally less money than people in western countrys, so getting the equipement has been a main issue and timetaking for many, but I think things are slowly comming together...I was planning to have a small FJC in Poland this spring, but have to wait for some surgery before I can do that. There was many people interested, but I made "having own equipement" as the main requirement to join the FJC and that reduced the numbers significantly. I also gave information to people about other FJC, and I know some of them propably went to them. Not everyone is anouncing it on the net.
If you look at Russia. 5 years ago there was only a handful of hardcore basejumpers there, some of the most skillfull like Yuri, living outside... Now there are more basejumpers in Russia than skydivers in Poland ;-) And most of the equipement they jump is also made there. (Except of perfect and less perfect copys of western gear there are some innovative designs out there)
THE BASE REVOLUTION IN EASTERN EUROPE IS A FACT. AND THERE ARE PLENTY OF NICE(AND UGLY) OBJECTS TO PLAY FROM. HOPE TO MAKE A NICE TWO WAY IN POLAND WITH YOU THIS AUTUM. NICE TO HAVE LOCAL CREW GROWING. GOOD LUCK, HAVE FUN AND DONT GET COUTH ;-)

Hey man. I dont get what`s your point in critisizing my website. I made it because there was nothing like this in polish and as you know, very few people speak english in that country. I made the basedictionary polish - english, so people could read serious sites like this one and understand and learn. Many has thanked me for that.
Does it irritate you that somebody that lives outside poland contribute to spread base knowledge in that country? Well, thas your own problem man...
But this bitching is unnececarry. Lets talk about somethink more interesting... JUMPING!!!!

I didnt translate some baseinfo. I have enough experience in BASE to write my own text. Translation is the technical terms dictionary part which for sure you also have used...Anyway lets take this kind of discussion out of here as posts like this contribute nothing to Blink and a few ears ago was a direct cause that many people left this forum.
