James or Robert,

After my last trip to Lysebotn Norway, my preferred PC & bridle setup for Kjerag was an 11-foot bridle and 36-inch vented PC. Peter turned me on to trying my v32-inch PC. It gave me cleaner openings but did take a bit longer to get in the saddle.

Since you guys are two of the most experienced wingsuit pilots in the world, can you please share your ideal setup?

What would you recommend as the ideal setup for Kjerag type WS jumps?

How about riskier jumps such as a jump with possible throw early to live scenarios?

Here are some comments Robert Pecnik made elsewhere to Luke jumping a Troll 245.

Luke;
Trol 245;

Prodigy=9 or 10 '', PC size - 36''
GTi = same as prodigy
V1 = 10' ( if u using the PC pouch than go for 11 or 12' bridle) PC size 34-36

In general for lower objects you might consider to have 38'' as well. In general the PC's are oversized anyway.
hope this is clearing all your ???

Hey J,

sorry for the delayed response, have been away for the past week.

I jump a 245 using a 36" with good results. I take a 38" for the lower stuff though (<1500', but it can cause harder openings).

PC size should also take into account canopy size i.e. weight the PC is having to lift.

C-ya in Kjerag!
:)
