Horner Pub and Hotel. Not that much to stay there and it's a good place to link up with other jumpers. Plus Marie will remember you forever. Friendly face and a good draft.

did they give examples on why they said "basejumpers are bad people"?

That statement kinda sucks, someone or something must have annoyed them so?

if you read my post on this topic over on dz.com you'll understand. The campsite is right next to the waterfall and resulting fallout. The incidents damage their livelyhood. The tourists don't cope with seeing that stuff very well.

The easy solution is to limit jumps from that exit and only jump early or late when there are few people around. (there are other little things "we've" done to annoy the camp owners but this is the main reason)

What site in the Lauterbrunnen Valley gets the most Strikes, Hang-Ups, Landing Injuries ?
Than all the other local valley Sites ?
It has to be the Waterfall.

Someone please correct Me, if I am wrong.

The Valley Hostel welcomes BASE jumpers with open arms. Ask for a room with balcony (not talking about the dorm's here) and you'll not be disappointed. They are VERY BASE friendly. You can get double from about 45 CHF per night per room. Great views of the valley from the balconies and plenty of packing space in the lawn area. Good facilities too.

The Swiss BASE Assoc. is asking everybody to NOT jump the Staubach (waterfall). Since this site is too close to the village, and since some people (campground owner) are not too happy about us, we rather jump the other sites!
