anyone any sugestions where i could find technical info (mostly height) of this craine, anyone jumped craine like that and do any of u know what kind of craine, who produces them so that i could find info on net..

I am sure the Belgium guys have done a similar object to this...........

So Cal ports (like the rest of the world) are dotted with these cranes. They are used to load and unload metal shipping containers on cargo ships.

Some, I've seen, are around 250 to 300-feet with your choice of ending up wet or dry. I remember hearing of some jumps from these cranes in the early days.

The problem now is port security is so much improved and getting shot at is a real concern . . .

Since cargo ships have grown in size there must be a few derilict cranes somewhere, and those would be safer to attack.

I would imagine a port security guard could shoot you, and later say he saw this black clad figure sneaking around, or under canopy, and totally get away with it . . .
