does anyone have any experience with jumping in light drizzle or heavy rain? how does it effect openings, flight characteristics, etc.....??
Thanks in advance!

Yo !
Rain won't affect your openings and will slightly improve flight characteristics of f-111 canopies (making them nearly zero-p while soaking wet).

You might try talking to hang glider pilots. wet hang gliders stall at a higher speed than normal due to the water on wing affecting air flow. I guess water on canopy is absorbed into fabric but it might affect the flare characteristics?
