Yo !
Just got the new BirdMan Skyflyer wingsuit and put a first jump on it... INCREDIBLE !!!
It will take some time to learn how to fly it, though. The difference with Classic is huge - like flying F-16 after learning on Cessna. DO NOT try it as your first wingsuit jump !!!
Will post more later, i'm on the next load.

Yo!
Made 5 jumps on Skyflyer yesterday and 5 more today. It's surprisingly different from Classic or GTi - i pretty much have to learn from the scratch. The suit is very fast - so far, i can get a better glide ratio and quite a bit more distance but my freefall time is about the same as using Classic. Flying style is very different - seems like straight arms give the best perfomance, and you have to use different muscles to fly it well. 5 jumps a day is rather tiring if your goal is high perfomance. It will take many more jumps to perfect it, but Skyflyer has a huge potential. I didn't get anywhere near 100% yet but i love this toy! Work quality and attention to detail is superb - this suit is much more user-friendly than my old Classic. It will last longer, too - the fabric is tough.
More good weather tomorrow, even though 70F is a bit cold...

Yo !
Well i'm back in DC (cold!) and going to Moscow for a few days (really cold!) ;-)
Anyway, got 1 more flight on the suit before leaving Florida. Seems like it flies better after you take a little break to rest ;-) The conclusion so far: it will be an excellent BASE machine. Expect to get much more horizontal distance and a minor increase in freefall time. Also expect to make a bunch of skydives on Skyflyer before taking it off a cliff. This suit will be safer in experienced hands: pilot chute hesitation is less likely due to the lower wing design that reduces burble. You will definitely want Lower Wing Quick Release option (and probably padded knees ;)
Make sure your rig is secure!!! You will be moving faster than terminal and cannot afford a premature deployment. Openings may be a bit harder because the suit is faster, but you will be able to slow it down below terminal at pull time.
