I will allow temporary comments on this topic for now, but note that they _MAY_ eventually be deleted.
This posting is informational only, but I would like opions from everyone to make sure they will be a good as they can.

Obviously not everyone can be please at the same time, but we can hopefully please as many people as possible, as much of the time as possible.

Thanks...

The BLiNC Magazine administrators reserves the right to change
the terms and conditions of the user agreement without
prior notice to the user. It is the responsibility of
the user to regularly review the terms of this
agreement.
There's not many of them, but they'll be enforced.

The BLiNC forum rules are:
1) No personal attacks. None.
2) No jokes or references to paedophilia. None.
3) No advertising (without BLiNC Approval)
4) Stick to the topics in the topical forums
5) Vulgar, Abusive, Racist, and Sexist Language will not be tolerated.
6) No mass posting or flooding of the boards is allowed.

If postings are not appropriate, they will be hidden by a BLiNC Moderator (not deleted) and will not be visible to anyone. A posting as to the reason and the action taken will be posted by the moderator that performed the action.

If the posting can, or needs to be edited, the moderator performing the action will tell who they are, and what they did. Those actions, and the original text will be posted on the "Moderators Only" forum for all BLiNC Moderators to review.

Those are all the rules! Everything below simply plays to forum etiquette.

Some things will make you unpopular:
1) Spam
2) Mindless post whoring
3) Repeating yourself
4) Rudeness
5) SHOUTING

Some things will make you popular:
1) Lurk. Spend some time before you storm in
2) Search before you ask. Most topics have been asked many times before.
3) Punctuate and spell check
4) Help newbies. remember you where a newbie yourself at one time...
5) Be nice

Finally, a few good ideas:
1) Don't feed the trolls!
2) Substantiate your claims
3) Think before you post
4) Use your common sense
5) Don't run with scissors

These can change and will evolve over time. Have fun!

Last notes:
1) Use of all information here is at your own risk. BASE-Jumping can lead to serious injuries and death. BLiNC Magazine is not responsible for use of _ANY_ material in this site.

2) Various law enforcement agencies around the world _DO_ visit this site on a daily basis! What you say on BLiNC, or any other internet forum _WILL_, and _HAS_ _ALREADY_ been used in a court of law! Protect yourself!

>2) No jokes

Sad thing, i think, its funny when people makes some funny freindly statments

>4) Stick to the topics in the topical forums

Perhaps you might just want to split treads as Tom does at Dz.com ,you can get really nice info out by doing it that way,but as genneral i agree.

Good work

THis really refers to the in-approriate jokes that can be made. Everyone has a bit of tongue-and-cheek once in a while...

This will happen in the right occasion.
But sometime, there are people selling gear on the base-board. That is not the topic of the base-board. Go to the parachute classifieds. A Moderator will move threads in such occasion.

Thanks for your continued support to BLiNC.

No worries Faber. Doing a spell check is not a rule it is merely good advice. Hey bro you only misspelled 2 words in your last post. I personally understand at least half of what you are saying in most of your post. Ha, ha, ha, just joking mate. Its more like 80 percent. :-)

Funny friendly statements are OK too. Rule #2 addresses joking about a specific form of child abuse. I think everyone will agree that rule #2 is a good rule to have.

Have fun, dont die!
