Hello,
There are 40 BASE jumpers in KL today.
Over 200 jumps today from the KL tower.
A couple scrapes and bruises, nothing major.
Gary C. from Oz got the most, 14 jumps!
Our youngest jumper is a 20 year old Norwegian,
our oldest jumper is 60 year old American.
Three Malaysian BASE students made their first BASE jump here today.
We also did a 30 jumper train, all hop and pops
with all jumpers making it a full 360 around the tower,
it was a really cool visual.
We have another full day of jumping tomorrow,
then 20 of us head North to Alor Star Tower.......

The Norwegian jumper might be the youngest one, but surly not the smartest...}( }( }( Please take good care of him, because I am slighty worried... ;-) And make sure he at least buys a postcard for me, so I can see the architectic wonders of Malaysia...
Way to go Pal!Have fun everyone!

Hello,
We finished our jumps here in KL today.
We made a total of 465 jumps from the tower this weekend.
Pal made it through the weekend, but he has a few red marks here and there.
Gary made 34 flicks in two days, we lost count of his rotations.
One of our Malaysian BASE bros smacked the tower today,
he went to hospital for treatment of a broke leg.
All the Malaysian students did well, no injuries.
One USA jumper had a very hard landing, nothing broken, just bruised.
We are heading north tomorrow, we're jumping Alor Star in a couple days.

OK!
Just back from this event, at the office now. In 1 word: PERFECT. In
more words: Excellent weather, 19 jumps (1 from KL tower + 1 bandit), hotel with pool, nice demo 30 way, good food, very friendly malaysians, no rush, very relaxed, pack like hell, sweat like a pig, chilled beer after 6 PM.
Avery, Dennis, Harry, Aziz and others: thanks a lot. 'njoy Alor Star.

Hey,
I just returned from this trip as well and completely agree with Ronald. If I had the extra vacation time I would have loved to stay longer, but instead I'm sitting here at my desk, jet lagged with a big ol' grin on my face. I am completely spent and I have Avery, Dennis, Harry, Cpt. Aziz and others to thank. :)
This was an awesome opportunity and jumping such an amazing object was just part of it. The Malaysian people were so nice and they treated us like rock stars the whole time.
After 10 jumps, I thought I had some pretty sick video, but then we went out on Monday night...
Holy SCHNIKES! Between running through the KL traffic like a life-size game of Frogger, getting in a wreck in our cab and eating from the chicken(?/salmanilla blue bowl of death in China Town, I'm not sure if running around town or jumping from the tower was more dangerous! We took a cab ride with 6 people in the car back to the hotel whipping through traffic with Stoney, our adopted Australian friend, yelling "fasta fasta" the whole time! I am TRUELY lucky to be alive.:D
Hope everyone else has a good time at Alor Star. Thanks again for an amazing adventure.

What a sweet object!
over 900ft with plenty of overhang, sweet as! Big word up to all the people who organised the shin-dig.
I myself have learned alot in the last week, from how to chuck flying fronts to double gainers off the gondala.
two ways where the order of the day, mind you, after taking a deep 6-7 seconds delay (watching Gary Cs quad gainer) i was forced to land on a road, in doing this i managed to rip several large branches down.. what fun!
Will catch up with all you punks soon.
