View Full Version : Video Camera shielding

Does anyone have recommendations on shielding a video camera from radiation?
Is a normal helmet camera casing good enough, or is some kind of shielding used for best results?
Reason I ask is at the top of big A, big signals are pumped out to the point of messing with the footage filmed at the top.

Another question, has anyone ever climbed the top spike on big A's (think over 800feet) without frying yourself. Yes, obviously if you are posting, you did not fry yourself.

Later,
Thomas

I've noticed that holding a Motorola radio next to a TRV-20 makes the video sunburst during radio transmissions. Perhaps you can use this to "test" carious shielding methods?

Aluminum foil hats for the camera, anyone?
