Sunday morning a dutch base-jumper made a beautiful leap of the Eiffel tower in Paris! Unbelievable that he has managed to get almost to the top of it without anyone noticing it. He managed to get away without getting busted. The operation seems to be very well directed and organised. I read it today in a dutch newspaper after hearing about it from another jumper.
I really admire the jumper and his crew for making this succesfull jump from an object that is probably thought off as unjumpable due to security by most people.
Anyone out there with any more info?

May be you don't know but many jumps are done in Paris by the french jumper. this tower has been jumped many times with success.
##### stranger jumper, may be you have to stop to look only at yourself !!! look around you, there are many jumpers who do many things.
#####,#####,#####... the base jumpers today think he is the best in the world, know everything about everything, go ##### yourself

Ofcourse I know that it has been jumped before, but still I thought a jump like this was worth mentioning on the board.
Even though I know that this wasn't the first jump of the object, I haven't seen anyone mentioning jumping the tower in the last one and a half year since I am following the baseboard. This was why I thought some people out there might be interested in hearing this.
By the way, I am not even a base-jumper myself, I am only very much interested. I think that I might be getting to the point that my skydiving skills give me enough confidence in myself to get into base in the next year or so. This is only to illustrate that you are wrong when you say "stranger jumper, may be you have to stop to look only at yourself !!!". I am not even looking at myself because I am not even a base-jumper yet. The only thing I do IS looking around, gathering as much info as possible, from as much different jumpers as possible to prepare myself in the best possible way for a first basejump.
All this not to be understood as being selfish, but rather wanting to share some info with other people who might be interested in this.

Hey "danis" - Why be such a hothead? I don't see much harm in the guy's post, yet you are sooo hostile.
Maybe you need a cookie and a nap.
