Just to let everyone know...the ukbasejumping bulls**t board is temporarily unavailable(tech stuff)...we are aware of the problem and moves are afoot to get it sorted...also,theres a UK forum here on Blinc which Mick has kindly provided...not as a backup but a parallel forum for you to air your stuff,...cheers for your patience..

hello there,
Im just attempting to get started in skydiving but ive always wanted to be involved in base jumping. How do i do it and what kind of modifications (if any) need to be made to standard sky diving kit?, ps how does the law stand on base jumping in the uk?

Hi Sean,

I am a researcher for the London based film company 'Milkshake Films'. At the moment I am working with a script writer Clive Hopkins who has been commissioned to write an action movie set against the world of BASE jumping.

He has been working with Simon Jakeman BASE60, but is keen to meet other jumpers living in the UK to discuss recent jumps, locations and technical stuff etc.

Would you be interested in talking to Clive, we would be really grateful of any help you could offer.

I look forward to hearing from you,

regards,
Katy Rodman.
