"A 29 year old swedish BASE jumper died in a BASE jump in Stabbeskaret, Norway.

After a 180 opening, the canopy collided with the mountain and he fell down along the side of the mountain wall.

The area is forbidden for BASE jumpers since it is a very inaccessible area for rescue personel to reach, making it hard for them to rescue people."

Thanks for your condolences and thoughts. Please be patient for a while. In time both the name and the most likely cause for the accident will be released. More urgent matters need to be addressed right now.

The Mince Divisions' thoughts are with those friends and family who are grieving the loss.losing friends is a rotten way to spend the summer.I'm still thinking about the friends I lost last year.
