Optimal Track Position

There has been lots of talk about tracking here but what generally yields the best for the average person. Remember the video of the guy tracking down that cliff in norway? How did he do it? Arms closer or farther from the body? Etc.

It would be great if you could join pictures of the tracking positions to your answer (even if it's not in freefall). I'm not sure to have fully understood the so called "penguin" position.
It could be very helpfull for those who are not fluent in English.
