I found an interesting thing recently.
on the NPS Office of Policy webpages I found a quicklink for BASE jumping. Go here to see it:

BASE jumping is among those items enumerated in the pull-down list for quicklinks. Check it out!

Damn, stimied again! I was gonna launch my hovercraft from glacier point this weekend, but I just learned its not pursuient to bla bla bla... Not to worry folks I can still woo em with my light saber. And they'll never outlaw warp drive and porno mags in the park. That was a close one though.
It's kinda like the "Chance" cards in "Monopoly" only the cards are real the banker is armed perverted.

8.2.2.7 BASE Jumping
BASE (Buildings, Antennae, Spans, Earth forms) jumping— also known as fixed object jumping— involves an individual wearing a parachute jumping from buildings, antennae, spans (bridges), and earth forms (cliffs). This is not an appropriate public use activity within national park areas, and is prohibited by 36 CFR 2. 17( 3)..
I am just happy that earth forms gets a little definition so that it can't be confused with other earth forms.
