Motorola Talkabout T6320 altimeter

Just picked up a talkabout w/ a built in altimeter. Says it reads off feet in 20' increments. Is that better or worse than typical watch altimeters? also, anyone have an idea of how reliable these are, or is there an easier way of gauging height.

Got a Pathfinder alti-therm, it's also in 20' increments, and is accurate as long as you give the watch 2 minutes to recalibrate(one like mine)
once you're at your test altitude.
I never use it. Usually just wind up gettin' off where it looks "Good Enough......."
