Mark your calendars for the last and greatest moon of the year. December 22 will be the first full moon to occur on the winter solstice in 133 years! The full moon will be in conjunction with a lunar "Perigee" (no plug intended) which will make it about 14% larger than it's farthest point (the apogee). To make it even sweeter, this particular "perigee" of the moon will be the closest this year and since the earth is several million miles closer to the sun during the winter solstice, sunlight striking the moon will be about 7% stronger. Providing you live in a clear weather area, you won't even need to use your headlights that night!

Sounds like a great day for releasing inmates to me! Enjoy.
