Do you really want every whuffo in the country to watch BASE and think they can do it too? (some could) Tough call with the majority of BASE jumps in the US being illegal, The more people the faster sites get burned. I guess on the other hand it could end up like skydiving But do you really want it that way?

If you need recognition you could always make a BASE video.

can you say Sept 9-11?

The first inadvertently televised jumps...no one is going to touch it after that.

i have figued out one thing mr,huckstable your answer sucks! look i can understand illegal jumps
bad press for 9-11 and making videos, and i can
understand your xtreme adventures and maybe
publicity might ruin your fun,but everyone has
too except the fact that your xtreme exploites
will become main stream sooner or later, and i
can tell the later the better for some!and then
for some others it won' be illegal ,but a real
athletic sport were the best can compete and
be reconized for thier life long enjoyment for
this extreme adventure.oh dude i figured it out
and it's about time you did..........................

signed the misunderstood!
ya right!

Usually because the media dosnt know about the events. We dont hear squat about them until they have passed, and when we try and do stories seperate from the events, such as a story on the sport itself, we have a hard time finding anyone willing to talk to us.

Speaking of, I am looking for any BASE jumpers based in the Los Angeles area or who will be in the area who would be willing to talk, on or off the record. We are trying to do a story on the sport.

Any one who is interesed, feel free to e-mail me with any questions you might have.
