Viva Las Vegas

I am an English jumper who is spending a week in Las Vegas over Christmas.
It is not a base trip, but having done 80 jumps now I'm mad for it, and am thinking of taking my rig.
I would appriciate any information, advise, tips on a) bothering to bring rig
b) objects to jump
c) attitude of authorities

If there is a local jumper willing to show this English man around I would be grateful and it would certainly be worth a few beers.
