Yes, i had almost similar thing happened to me. I jumped my Hummit (a death rig) and after the opening i tried to pull my toggles down. The end of the pin had gone trough my riser ring and refused to come down. I heard that it has happened to other jumpers as well, who have jumped the Hummit. Be careful out there...
