Anyone have any experience with this? Would it be good in the BASE environment? Thinking about possibly getting one.

Are you talking about the Bonehead Boomerang?
I do not have any experience with that helmet, but I have been jumping for more than one year with a FD full face helmet, and I find myself very happy with that. I jump it with lens removed (but only for "freedom" and, moreover, when I climb antennas with it on, having the lens would shorten my breath!) but I see no negative issue in jumping it WITH the lens on.
Jumping with a full face helmet gives me a nice feeling of protection. And once it had been very, very useful indeed, when I did an off-field landing in our terminal wall, when I had a very, very close encounter with a concrete vertical stick that, without my full face helmet, for sure would have smashed a little bit of my face and few teeth as well. With full face helmet on, it resulted only in a big fear and a small bruise on my nose and that's it!!!

Stay safe out there

I don't wear a full-face helmet because I don't like the way they resrtrict my vision. I would consider wearing one that was designed more like an open face "sparring" helmet that wrapped around the jaw a bit to protect the mandible (?) but didn't protrude out past the plane of your eyes...
If you do wear a FD, remove the visor! Those things (especially at night or in flat light) will mess with your depth perception enough to scare you occasionally.
