Default gear treatment

Im taking velcro rig jumped 150ft into saltwater.
Theres no vents on the canopi

i have removed the Bumpers, while its a slider off jump and i think the bumpers could keep the water in the lines for longer than nessesary.

i have removed my hook knife while it will be too short to even clear it,and ill have water under me

But i have multi on.should i keep it?or wont it help any?

about transport.I have aprox 1 hour driving before i can get the gear under fresh water,it will then be abel to hang the nigth over before ill head home.
Should i just wash it and then keep it in freshwater or should i try to dry it as fast asposible?

ill have a plastic kids barthtorp(?)and some plastic to have it in..

any smart things to do?things i should be aware of?

Thanks
