Insane idiot: Is that a parachute? - BASE Jumping

I've been interested in jumpin' for a bit.. And i still can't figure out whether these kids are truly insane by doing pullups off scaffolding or if those "backpacks" are actually parachutes... Any ideas?

First, that's not a parachute.

Second, that guy is awesome. He knows his abilities and was able to keep fear taking over. I admire him. I don't have the nerves for that stunt- not even close.
