I went to visit Brian Sunday night.
He has broken both lower legs. He lost alot of blood and had to have a transfusion. This is why he is in ICU at Charleston General. He is doing very good and is in very good spirits. I would like to ask the community for a favor! One of the first 2 things Brian asked me about was "Can I still get a Bridge Day T-Shirt?", and "Can I get the photo of my exit?". This jump was around 11:00 to 1:00pm. I was his ramp coordinator. I gave him a BASE Logic T-Shirt and will pay for a "Bridge Day" T-Shirt if someone has an XL. E-Mail me and I will get it to him. He wanted to tell everyone that he is sorry for crashing and he is in no way thinking bad about BASE Jumping. He really liked the jump but he really prefers more freefall. We don't have alot of that. Thanks everyone Mick... |

He deployed and had line twists.
He found himself over the railroad tracks after getting out of them. He then made 2 "S" turns to avoid the power lines and hit the tracks and rocks at a 50 degree agle. Just like "Hooking it in" on a skydive. He is going to be OK. |

I jumped between 1201 and 1210 and a photo that a friend of mine took shows a crowd around a guy on the railway tracks, probably Brian. That would give his time as before 12. How long was he lying there before he was stretchered off?
Hope that helps with the timing for photos. Gaz |
